Road Work Scheduled On Monroe Street Next Week — Here’s When And Where

Work is set to begin early next week, with paving scheduled later in the week.

MONROE, CT — Road work is scheduled in Monroe this week, with milling and paving planned over several days, according to town officials.

The work is tied to the Cross Hill Water Main Project and is expected to begin Tuesday, April 14 with traffic delays possible.

Milling operations are scheduled to take place between Tuesday and Thursday, April 16.

Paving is expected to begin Friday, April 17, and continue through Sunday, April 20, weather permitting.

Officials said the work is being completed following concerns about the condition of the road and will be done in a way that minimizes disruption to the traveling public.

The project is being completed by Aquarion, in coordination with its contractor, Burns Construction.
