Sandy Hook Elementary School in Monroe Evacuated After Bomb Threat
Police found no evidence of a bomb at the school, students will finish day at nearby Monroe School.

Sandy Hook Elementary School in Monroe was evacuated Wednesday morning after someone called in a bomb threat, according to police.
The call was received at 9:39 a.m., according to the Hartford Courant. The building was evacuated and occupants were moved to the nearby Monroe School, where they will finish their day.
Police checked Sandy Hook Elementary School and found no evidence of a threat.
