Six Monroe Home Sales Close Out the First Half of 2011
Overall 6-month numbers slightly lower than last year.
Six homes sold last week in Monroe: Three in what can be called the lower end of the market, under $300,000, and three in the middle, between $400,000 and $500,000. This was one-third fewer than the nine that sold between the same dates (June 28 and July 4) last year, and one less than the comparable days of the week (Tuesday through Monday) of the last week of June. The Fairfield County Multiple Listing Service shows 77 homes sold in the first half of 2011, slightly down from 83 in the same period in 2010.
