Six Separate Thefts from Cars Reported in Monroe

The Monroe Police Department is investigating six complaints of thefts from cars.

According to police, the thefts all occurred between April 22 and April 27 during overnight hours from vehicles parked on the road or in driveways. Most vehicles were unlocked.

The thefts occurred in the areas of Christiana Drive, River Road, Georges Lane, Stable Ridge Road and Skyview Road. 

“The police department would like to remind residents to always lock their car and never leave valuables inside of your car,” the Monroe Police Department said in a press release.
