'Sprint for Monroe' Charitable 5K is on June 5
Celebrate healthy living and physical fitness and help local Monroe charities at the same time!
MONROE, CT-- The 24th Annual Spring for Monroe 5K road race is one of Monroe’s biggest community events and it all happens on June 5, 1016.

"Its popularity is based on the fact that it allows families, neighbors and friends to come together and celebrate healthy living and physical fitness," Monroe Parks & Rec said in a statement.
Last year's race raised funds for the Monroe Food Pantry, the Monroe Education Foundation, Monroe’s Project Warmth, the Chase Kowalski Foundation, and other local nonprofits. This years race is sponsored by the Kimball Group and will continue to support youth programs, educational initiatives and other local nonprofits.
The 2016 Sprint for Monroe will be held on Sunday, June 5 at Wolfe Park, 285 Cutlers Farm Road. Register to run or walk the race, or participate in the Race4Chase Kids Fun Run online at www.sprintformonroe.com.
