Sredzinski Honored as EMS Legislator of the Year
State Rep. J.P. Sredzinski represents the 112th District including Monroe and Newtown.

State Representative J.P. Sredzinski has been named “Legislator of the Year” as part of the Connecticut Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Awards. Department of Public Health (DPH) Commissioner Dr. Raul Pino presented Rep. Sredzinski with the award at a ceremony Monday morning at the State Capitol.
Rep. Sredzinski, who currently works as the public safety dispatch supervisor in Stratford, was recognized for his leadership and support for the EMS profession.

“I am so honored to receive this award and humbled to be recognized by my peers,” said Rep. Sredzinski. “EMS professionals do grueling work day after day that is literally a matter of life or death. I have worked to be an advocate for my fellow EMS professionals here in Hartford and will continue to speak up on matters that affect our community.”
The ceremony also marked the kickoff of National EMS Week during which DPH encourages residents to support their local EMS organizations. For more information on EMS Week and the awards, please visit here.
