Wednesday, May 27. St. Jude School 8th Grader, Emily McGovern was awarded the honor of receiving the St. Thomas Aquinas Award at the Breakfast of Champions held at the Catholic Center in Bridgeport. Several schools from the Diocese were present at the Breakfast including Bishop Frank J. Caggiano.
The St. Thomas Aquinas Award is given to those students who have displayed academic excellence and have exemplified the values of the Catholic faith through service and Christ like behavior.
St. Jude School congratulates Emily on her award, and all the students who received awards at the Breakfast of Champions. May they continue to carry on their academic efforts and be role models throughout the rest of their academic careers.
