State Sen. Marilyn Moore to Hold Office Hours in Monroe

Sen. Marilyn Moore represents the 22nd district of Monroe, Trumbull and Bridgeport and advocates for health equity, living wage and more.

Democratic State Senator Marilyn Moore will hold office hours this month in Monroe on Thursday, Jan. 28, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library, 733 Monroe Turnpike.

Senator Marilyn Moore represents the 22nd district of Monroe, Trumbull and Bridgeport.

According to her website, Moore is “a lifelong Bridgeport resident and community activist, Marilyn has been a force in advocating for health equity, living wage, and legislation that supports and protects Connecticut communities. Recognizing the rapid increase in morbidity and mortality rates among low income minority women with breast cancer, Moore founded and became President and CEO of The Witness Project, which seeks to address and reduce breast cancer mortality.”
