Statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Reported Stolen: Monroe Police

Monroe police say on Wednesday the owner of Angeles & Company at 115 Route 25, reported the theft of a five foot color statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus from the front of her business.

The statue, valued at $600, was displayed outside in front of the store amongst plantings. It was last seen at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday evening and a friend of the owner noticed it missing 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The Monroe Police Department is asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious near the store during this time or has any information of regarding this theft, to contact the department at 203-261-3622 or call its tip-line at 203-452-2839.
