Syrup Seducer Now Faces Weapons Charges: Report
Police say they found an unregistered AK-47 in the home of the landscaper they nabbed earlier this month on voyeurism charges.

MONROE, CT — Police found an unregistered assault rifle in the home of Robert Somley, the local landscaper whose sexual shenanigans with syrup won him national attention earlier this month, the News Times is reporting.
Somley, 52, had been charged with voyeurism when he allegedly refused to delete a video he had secretly recorded of himself and a married woman having sex with maple syrup and jam. He was ordered to jail the following week for witness tampering, after he allegedly called his paramour and threatened to go public with her name unless she dropped the case.
Somley had just posted $150,000 bond for that crime when police picked him up again Wednesday after allegedly finding an unregistered AK-47 in his home. He was charged with illegal possession of an assault weapon and possession of high capacity magazines and held on an additional $75,000 bond.
