Tiny Miracles Foundation Mentors in Monroe: Training Program on Feb. 5
The training program for Fairfield County mentors of parents of premies will start at 9 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 5 in Darien Library.

The Tiny Miracles Foundation, which helps premature babies and supports their parents, has a training program on Feb. 5 for Fairfield County mentors who help parents of the prematurely born infants.
The foundation is always looking for parents of premature babies to volunteer as mentors to help other parents of premies.

The Tiny Miracles Foundation (TTMF) which for 10 years has been providing support, programs, and services for premature babies and parents in Fairfield County will be hosting a special training program for its mentors. These mentors provide direct support to parents who have preemies in the neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) at Stamford, Norwalk, Bridgeport, and Danbury Hospitals.
This special training, scheduled for Thursday, February 5 at 9am at Darien Library will be led by the nationally recognized specialist in the field, Dr. Sue Hall.

Dr Hall has been a neonatologist for over 25 years, and previously worked as a master’s level social worker with families and children who struggled with physical, emotional, and development challenges.
Dr. Hall completed undergraduate major in both Psychology and Human Biology at Stanford University, earned an MSW from Boston University, and an MD from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
She completed here pediatric training and Fellowship in Neonatology at The Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Formerly an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at UCLA’s David Geffen School of Medicine, she has worked as a neonatologist for Pediatrix Medical Group for 10 years, and has recently returned to Souther California from Kansas where she served as Medical Director of a large regional NICU for 7 years.
Dr. Hall is also the author of a book about life in the NICU, For The Love of Babies, published in June 2011.
