Unclaimed Winning CT Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Monroe

The lucky winner is not yet known, according to the Connecticut Lottery. Could it be you?

MONROE, CT — A winning $10,000 scratch-off lottery ticket recently was sold in Monroe, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

The winning "30X Cash 8th Edition" ticket was sold at Monroe Food Mart on Monroe Turnpike, but the lucky winner is not yet known.

"Until the individual or group presents their winning ticket for claim at CT Lottery Headquarters, the identity of a winner is unknown," officials said in a statement.

The game, which costs $30 per ticket, began in May 2021, and as of Wednesday, eight grand prizes of $30,000 remained unclaimed. Additionally, nine second-place prizes of $10,000 also have not yet been claimed.

More than 1 million tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.53.
