WATCH: Monroe Penguin 'Plunge at the Park' Benefits Special Olympics
The Plunge at the Park will be held on Saturday, April 2 at Great Hollow Lake in Wolfe Park in Monroe.
MONROE, CT-- The Monroe Police Department is happy to present their sixth annual Penguin Plunge for Special Olympics of Connecticut.
The Plunge at the Park will be held on Saturday, April 2 at Great Hollow Lake in Wolfe Park in Monroe. Local law enforcement, businesses, students and community members will take the plunge for a great cause. Those who don't wish to brave the icy waters can show their support by purchasing an "I'm a Chicken" T-shirt.

Registration is from 11 a.m.-12:45 p.m. The plunge is at 1 p.m.
