WEATHER UPDATE: Monroe's Hour-By-Hour Forecast

A Winter Weather Advisory now remains in effect until 6 a.m. Tuesday for snow, which is expected to fall for most of the day.

The National Weather Service is predicting 2-4 inches of snow and a trace amount of ice accumulation by late tonight. A mix precipitation will quickly change to all snow.

The weather service states that travel will be “hazardous” due to snow and ice accumulation along with reduced visibilities.

This latest round of snow and ice will have an effect on this evening’s commute home from work, and we’ll let you know what Monroe’s hour-by-hour forecast is.

12 p.m. light snow

1-3 p.m. snow

3-7 p.m. snow showers

7 p.m. to 10 p.m. light snow

10 p.m. snow showers

11 p.m. to 12 a.m. few snow showers

The only good news sort of in the hour-by-hour forecast is the snow appears to be very light during the evening commute home.
