White Christmas? Monroe Weather Forecast
The weather forecast for the weekend through Christmas.

Those hoping for a white Christmas might get a wet and unseasonably warm one instead.
There will be a developing area of low pressure rolling in from Monday night to Tuesday morning, but the atmosphere is too warm for snow, according toWTNH’s Gil Simmons.

A storm is moving into the area Tuesday into Wednesday (Christmas Eve), but the prediction is for possibly strong winds and rain. Christmas day will be dry and colder.

The National Weather Service predicts that there will be a chance of rain Tuesday, with clouds and a high near 46 degrees for the lower part of the state; the upper part will be a few degrees colder. Tuesday night is the same with a low around 37 degrees and the chance of rain will be 50 percent.
Wednesday the chance of rain is 70 percent, according to the National Weather Service. The high temperature will be near 55 degrees for the lower part of the state and a high of 51 for the upper part of the state.
