Winning $20,208 Lottery Ticket Sold In Monroe
The lucky winner is unknown, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
MONROE, CT — Someone is $$20,208 richer this week after winning an as-yet unclaimed lottery ticket purchased in Monroe, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Monday, the lottery said that a winning "Play4Day" ticket had been purchased from the Monroe Food Mart on Monroe Turnpike, but the winner is a mystery.
"Until the individual or group presents their winning ticket for claim at CT Lottery Headquarters, the identity of a winner is unknown," officials said.

Play4, which has day and night versions, offers chances to win prizes from $25 up to $25,000, according to the lottery.
Wagers can range from $0.50 to $5, and odds of winning vary depending on what numbers are matched and how much is bet.
