Winning CT Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Monroe
A Monroe resident is the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
MONROE, CT — Just in time for the Holidays, a Monroe resident is $10,000 richer this week after claiming a winning scratch-off lottery ticket he purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Tuesday, William Bentz claimed a winning "10X Cash 15th Edition" ticket he purchased at the Cumberland Farms on Main Street.
The game, which costs $10 per ticket, began in May, and as of Tuesday, 97 grand prizes of $10,000 remained unclaimed. More than 5.2 million tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.95.
