Winning CT Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Monroe
A Stratford resident is the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
MONROE, CT — A Stratford resident is $10,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket purchased in Monroe, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Friday, Ihor Stefanyshyn claimed a winning "200X" ticket that was purchased at the Monroe Turnpike Store on Monroe Turnpike.
The game, which costs $20 per ticket, began in late-February, and as of Monday, two grand prizes of $1,000,000 remained unclaimed.

More than 2.4 million tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.21.
