Woman Charged in Burglary of Elderly Monroe Resident's Home: Police
Police say that electronics and jewelry were stolen from an elderly woman's home on Oct. 6.

MONROE, CT — A Bridgeport woman was arrested Tuesday for her involvement in the burglary of an elderly Monroe woman's home in October, according to police.
Natasha Pennywell, 35, of Bridgeport was arrested on a warrant stemming from the October 6 burglary and burglaries in Fairfield, Norwalk and Westport. Her accomplice Ernest Bailey was also arrested by Monroe police in February.
Police say that the woman arrived home to find a U-haul van in her parking lot, and later found that someone had broken into her home and stolen electronics and jewelry. Investigators found that similar burglaries had happened in other towns, and eventually determined that Pennywell and Bailey were suspects.
