UPDATE: Boy, 12, Suffers Head Injuries After Being Struck by a Car

Police say the youth was hit by a car Saturday morning while he was riding his bicycle.

UPDATE, 5 P.M.

MONTVILLE, CT - New details have emerged in the accident involving a car hitting a 12-year-old Saturday morning. Police say the boy was riding his bicycle in his grandparent's driveway and he ended up continuing into traffic, which is when he was struck, Fox CT reports.

The boy suffered head injuries.
