'All I Want for Christmas is a Home'

Pumpkin the dog was found in a sad state — very hungry and covered in fleas. This “love-bug” pup is now clean and waiting for a new family to take her home.

“Pumpkin is ready to find a new home before Christmas,” Montville Animal Control wrote on Facebook. “She says she can’t wait ‘till Santa brings her a new forever home!”

Pumpkin is flea-free and while she can be shy at first and a touch grouchy, once she warms up, she is a love-bug, Animal Control wrote on Facebook.

“Don’t let her age fool you, she is a happy and healthy senior who deserves a great retirement home,” Montville Animal Control said. “Please call (860) 848-3529 to make an appointment to meet her.”
