Alleged Montville Sexual Assault Leads To Arrest: Report

To escape the alleged attack, the victim jumped out of the moving vehicle and was able to flag down a state trooper.

MONTVILLE, CT — A 44-year-old New London man was arrested on a warrant this week in connection with an alleged sexual assault that occurred on I-395 in Montville, reports the Norwich Bulletin.

Arrested on charges of first-degree sexual assault, disorderly conduct and second-degree unlawful restraint was Arcida Perez. He is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in the backseat of a vehicle traveling on I-395.

To escape the alleged attack, the victim jumped out of the moving vehicle and was able to flag down a state trooper.

Perez appeared in court Monday and is free on bond from $150,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in again in court on May 7.
