UNCASVILLE, CT — A refreshed burger concept from celebrity chef Bobby Flay is now part of the dining lineup at Mohegan Sun, marking another change in the resort’s evolving restaurant scene.
Bobby’s Burgers is welcoming guests as part of a soft opening. The restaurant is scheduled for a grand opening May 21 following renovations that updated its layout, menu and service model. The restaurant had been closed temporarily, part of a broader pattern of turnover and reinvestment in Mohegan Sun’s food offerings in recent years.
The redesigned space will introduce a counter-service format aimed at speeding up ordering and pickup. It will also include a full-service bar, a feature not common across all locations of the brand.
The menu is expected to center on burgers made with Angus beef, along with chicken and vegetarian options. Signature items include the Crunchburger and other variations developed by Flay, alongside fries and milkshakes. The restaurant will also offer limited-time menu items on a rotating basis.
Mohegan Sun has continued to adjust its dining portfolio, bringing in new concepts while updating or replacing existing ones. The Farm Italy opened last year in place of Ballo Italian. Todd English's Tuscany underwent renovations and reopened in January.

The return of Bobby’s Burgers follows the temporary closure of another high-profile restaurant at the resort, reflecting ongoing changes to its mix of celebrity-backed and in-house dining options.
Flay, a longtime restaurateur and television personality, has expanded the Bobby’s Burgers brand to multiple locations across the country, including in Las Vegas and Atlantic City. The Mohegan Sun location is expected to be among the larger versions of the concept.
Once open, the restaurant will operate daily, with extended late-night hours on weekends and breakfast service planned for Saturdays and Sundays.
