UNCASVILLE, CT — Mohegan Sun’s Poker Room will host a Summer Kickoff Poker Tournament from June 12-14 at the casino in Uncasville, according to a press release.
The tournament is a $400 buy-in No Limit Texas Hold ’Em event with a guaranteed $75,000 prize pool. Play begins June 12 at 11:10 a.m. and concludes June 14, when a winner will be crowned.
Registration will open in the Poker Room at 9:15 a.m. before each flight and remain open through the start of level seven. Players will begin with 25,000 chips and may purchase an additional 5,000-chip add-on for $10.
Mohegan Sun also announced a Juneteenth High Hand Special scheduled for June 19 from noon to midnight.
During the promotion, qualifying high hands every 20 minutes from noon to 2 p.m. and from 10 p.m. to midnight will receive $1,000. Qualifying high hands every 20 minutes from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. will receive $600. Qualifying hands include aces full or better.
The Poker Room also offers daily cash games and tournaments, including Texas Hold ’em, Omaha, 7 Card Stud, Razz, Badugi and 2-7 Triple Draw, according to the release.
