MONTVILLE, CT — Early voting opens Monday in the Town Hall gymnasium, the Town Council has adopted an ordinance allowing a 99-year lease of part of the PTA Lane property, and the Economic Development Commission hears from Waste Zero.

1. Early Voting In The Town Hall Gym
When: Monday, Oct. 19, through Sunday, Nov. 1; Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3
Where: Town Hall Gymnasium, 310 Norwich-New London Turnpike, Uncasville
What to know: Early voting and same-day registration are in the Town Hall gymnasium, according to the town. State law sets early voting hours at 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with extended 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. hours on Tuesday, Oct. 27, and Thursday, Oct. 29. Questions go to the registrars at 860-848-6783.

2. Council Adopts PTA Lane Lease Ordinance
When: Adopted Tuesday, Oct. 13
Where: Montville Town Hall, 310 Norwich-New London Turnpike, Uncasville
What to know: The Town Council adopted Ordinance 2026-07, which authorizes the mayor to lease a portion of the PTA Lane property, according to the town clerk's notice. The proposal heard Oct. 13 covered about 1.81 acres leased to MONTVILLE 1 LLC for 99 years.

3. Economic Development Commission Hears Waste Zero
