Big Belly Kelly's BBQ & Catering Moves To Montville
The popular barbecue joint started by Kelly Walker recently moved from Groton to Montville.
MONTVILLE, CT — Big Belly Kelly's BBQ & Catering, a popular New London County barbecue joint, recently packed up and moved from its former Groton site to a smaller location in the old Mel's Diner on Route 163 in Montville, writes The Day.
Owner Kelly Walker, who battled colon cancer soon after opening the Groton location in 2015, tells The Day that he's pleased with the new spot in Montville and already has some regulars dropping in.
The new location has fresh paint, new equipment and room for meat preparation and the catering service.
