The Town of Montville has an ordinance for Fire Lanes. The Fire Marshal establishes fire lanes, fire lanes in front of occupancies with an occupant load of 15 persons most likely has a fire lane. Vehicles can not park in the fire lanes, the Police issues infractions for illegal parking in fire lanes. Fines are up to $ 100 per violation. Please keep these areas open for the fire department and ambulances to access the building without impediments. See chapter 222 of the Town of Montville Code for more information.
