Splash! Adds More WOW to Warwick Mall: Celebrating the Holidays Continues Into January
Splash, a combination of lasers, water, sound, and light, is the newest attraction in the Jordan's Furniture Store chain. It opened in their newest store at the Warwick Mall.
Lasers, water, video, and sound beautifully combine for a show called “Splash,” now being shown daily in the new Jordan’s Furniture Store inside the Warwick Mall.
The show’s holiday theme, which includes lasers and television clips synchronized to popular Christmas songs, continues until mid-January.
The mall’s website claims that "the Warwick Mall is causing a lot of wow” so you come see it.

Many who come to see Splash are saying or thinking “wow” while watching this awesome 12-minute show. The show consists of over 9,000 water nozzles, 15,000 watts of digital surround sound, 20,000 watts of light, and 16 watts of state-of-the-art lasers. The show also uses three high powered lasers and three video projectors.
It is truly one of the most amazing Christmas shows I have ever seen.

The theater has its own roof-top chiller as water must be kept at 42 degrees to prevent condensation on the laser’s bubble enclosures.
Shows run every hour on the hour in the 350-seat theater on the lower level of the two-story 115,000-square-foot store. Shows run Monday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Next year, Splash will feature “Rock On,” a high energy tribute to Rock ‘n Roll. After that, they will present “A Tribute to Michael Jackson” as well as shows commemorating The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and The Rat Pack. In the summer, they will give a patriotic tribute to our military.
Hosting exciting shows is not something new for this furniture store chain.
The basis for the show comes from the water show called Liquid Fireworks held at their Reading store and the laser show named LITE, Laser Imagination Theater Experience at their Avon location.
While Liquid Fireworks is an outdoor musical fountain show; LITE is an indoor 15-minute show consisting of state-of-the-art lasers and special effects, currently featuring a holiday musical tribute.
Avon also features a 4-D Motion Odyssey Movie ride. Their current 20-minute film is themed after the Polar Express.
This complements the store’s Enchanted Village holiday display with 59 mechanical figurines and 18 vignettes coming from the 1959 Jordan Marsh Department Store collection.
The holiday shows at LITE and 4-D as well as the Enchanted Village are operational until January 1, 2012.
Speaking of great shows, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and Santa vs. the Snowman are being shown at their IMAX 3-D Theaters in Reading and Natick.
These 600-seat theaters host eight-story-high screens, 12,000 watts of surround sound, and personal subwoofers in every Tempur-Pedic seat. The steep slope of the auditorium ensures everyone has a great view.
If you have a sweet tooth, be sure to visit their Beantown in Reading which consists of 25 million Jelly Belly jelly beans. Attractions here include a 40-foot, 4 million jelly bean ice cream sundae named “The Big Dig”, a life-sized Wally the Green Monster made of jellybeans, and a six-million jelly bean Sweet House (with its own candy shop) paying homage to the 1713 Old State House.
If partying is more your style, visit Bourbon Street inside Natick. A Mardi Gras FX show is performed daily consisting of lights, smoke, and animatronic robots who have included The Village People, Elvis, Diana Ross and the Supremes, Louis Armstrong, and many others.
Whether you love the holidays, lasers, music, special effects, jelly beans, or just the Red Sox, take a drive and check out Jordan’s Furniture’s many attractions.
