Daily Five: Small Business, Rachel's Day at Tyl and Wet, Wet Weather

1. Starting with a thick soup of opaque morning fog we’ll segue into a steady drizzle that evolves into a 70 percent chance of rain throughout the day. Some of that rain will include thunder and lightning in the afternoon.

2. Rachel’s Challenge assembly for sixth grade Tyl Middle School students is slated for 10 this morning.  Talk to your kids (grandkids, nieces, nephews, neighbors, friends kids…) about what they learned. 

3.  World Teachers’ Day is tomorrow. And while there were no local events (that I could find) celebrating it, I know we al have that teacher that made a difference in our loves. Tell them! 

4.  The Commission on Aging meets today at 10 a.m. at the Senior Center at 12 Maple Ave.

5. Also today is the second installment in our small business Thursday series. Stop by and say hey to Herb!
