You are invited to An Evening with the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.
On Tuesday, October 4, from 6-8 PM, Montville High School will be hosting two distinguished speakers from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, Dr. Richard A. Zeff and Dr. Barbara E. Kream.
The topic is scientific careers and medical school. This is an excellent chance for high school students to learn first-hand what it takes to prepare for and get into medical school, get inside information on combined degree programs and learn about the preparation needed for scientific careers.

From Miss Chisowa:
“I participated in an enriching summer research internship for six weeks this summer. While there I attended a series of informational lectures targeting high school students who are interested in medical careers. The knowledge I gained was very valuable, and I wanted students in my community to gain the same knowledge for their future ventures.
The medical program I have organized will do exactly this. I believe it is important for people to use their knowledge for the benefit of others, and this is what galvanized my efforts to create a program that will benefit other students who have a zeal for the sciences.”
