ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

- Graduating Montville High School Senior in good standing
- Must have participated in at least one sport for each year enrolled at MHS
- Will be entering (enrolled) in a College, Vocational or Trade School in the Fall following HS Graduation
GENERAL INFORMATION
We will not be grading the essay; grade point average is not a requirement nor is financial need.

- We are looking for an essay that tells us that your heart and your soul are in athletics. The essay should include how you have personally grown by participating in sports and what effect sports have had on you beyond the field/court/mat.
- One male and one female athlete will be chosen to receive a scholarship. The award in the amount of $1,000.00 will be paid directly to each recipient on Awards Night.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
- Applicants must answer the following essay question in 300-500 words:
“How has being involved with sports impacted your life?”
