"Awesome job by our dispatchers, police officers, town fire fighters (paid and volunteer), and mutual aid from other local departments. Thank you to all who assisted with last nights fire. Although the home suffered significant damage, everyone was able to get out with minor injuries.
"Great job to the teen who was able to quickly react and save his family. Fires can happen out of nowhere and spread quickly. Not all have outcomes like this one. It is important to teach your kids how to react in case you have a fire in your house. Discuss an exit plan.
"Our thoughts go out to the family during these tough times."
