UPDATE: Gas Main Break Prompts Quarantine of Montville Residents
Residents of a Montville neighborhood are able to leave their homes after a gas main break occurred June 3.

The Southeastern Water Company reportedly struck a gas main in Montville, resulting in a breakage that prompted emergency officials to ask residents to remain in their homes, NBC Connecticut reported.
Oakdale School is housing children until the situation is resolved. The neighborhood where this occurred includes the following roads:
