Her Cat Was Sick, So She Stole $70K From CT Casino: Report
Police arrested the Massachusetts woman and charged her with felony larceny.

UNCASVILLE, CT — A 48-year-old Massachusetts woman, facing a $7,000 veterinarian bill for her sick cat, allegedly scammed Mohegan Sun out of $70,430 in fraudulent slot machine credits over a six month period, reports The Day.
Arrested this week on a warrant charging her with first-degree larceny was Lisa Onderdonk, of Auburn. Authorities began an investigation in February when a casino Player's Club member reported that $2,500 worth of slot bonuses of his had been redeemed fraudulently.
Using surveillance footage and other investigatory means, police were able to identify Onderdonk as the alleged culprit, in part because she kept returning to the casino and taking out more credits. She allegedly told authorities that she devised an elaborate scheme to know when to go to the casino and at what times.
