Join Our Moms Talk This Week

1. Our Moms Talk Q&A topic this week is children and media.

We want to know how much is too much, and how you monitor and set limits – if you do!

How much TV, how much computer time, how much cell phone time? How do you find the balance between the good (kids learning on the computer, or chatting with their friends) and the bad (potential stalkers, lack of exercise)?

Members of the Moms Council will be on line from 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday to host a discussion, answer questions, share their experience – and we invite YOU to participate!

2. Do you know a great kid who should be honored as a ? It’s a youth who has done something special – or who simply is special. We will write a short piece about him or her, talk about what makes him or her outstanding. Please email carrie.jacobson@patch.com, or enter your nominee’s name and contact information – along with yours – in the comment box at the end of this piece.
