Jury Awards $3.6 million to Montville Man in Scaffolding Collapse Case
A Montville man who became paralyzed after an accident was recently awarded $3.6 million.

MONTVILLE, CT - A man who became paralyzed after an accident was recently awarded $3.6 million by a New London jury, the Connecticut Law Tribune reported.
Nathaniel Sutera, 50, of Montville was left paralyzed from the waist down after a scaffolding he was on collapsed in September 2012, according to the Connecticut Law Tribune. He subsequently sued his brother, who managed the property where the incident occurred.
The victim said he has spent $608,000 to date on medical care due to his injuries from the incident, the Connecticut Law Tribune reported. A motion to set aside a March 9 verdict is set to be heard April 13.
