Local Students Make Dean's List At UConn

The University of Connecticut has released its Dean's List for the spring 2012 semester, and students from Oakdale and Uncasville have made the cut!

To make the Dean's List, students taking at least 12 credits must earn grades among the top 25 percent of their school or college, the news release says, adding that they cannot make the list if they receive a grade lower than a "C."

Congratulations to the following students:

Oakdale: Amy Bleasdale, Chad Galipeau, Peter Godin, Grace Jackson-Cirino, Justin Kobyluck, Ellen McNamara, Michael Preble, Alanna Riley, Nicholas Sabilia and Daniel Santos Jr.

Uncasville: Julia Berry, Drew Bicknell, Christina Corcoran, Jeffrey Creighton, Cristina Eberhart, Katelynn Edwards, Chelsea McQuown, Nathan Mei, Wenjing Ou, Nicholas Vaillancourt and Yang Xu.
