optional: Colored painter's tape, or acrylic paints, or stickers

Cut the plastic milk jugs in half horizontally, leaving the handle attached. You cut straight across, or cut an upside-down U-shape, where the crown of the upside-down "U" is near the top of the jug.

Use as is, to toss and catch a whiffle ball or tennis ball, or decorate, using paint, or painter's tape or stickers.

Help your kids imagine up some games to play with their scoops - tossing the ball over a tree limb, a fence or a clothesline; over-the-shoulder scooping; team tossing... get the whole neighborhood involved!
