Uncasville Man Charged With Sex Trafficking, Heroin Distribution
Court officials said an Uncasville man arrested on sex trafficking and heroin distribution charges has been sentenced.

UNCASVILLE, CT - Court officials said an Uncasville man was sentenced Wednesday to eight years in prison on charges of child sex trafficking and distributing heroin. His sentence will be followed by five years of supervised release, according to a release.
Court officials said Ramon Gomez, 41, of Uncasville brought a 17-year-old female to a Groton motel room on May 29, 2016, to engage in prostitution. Police said Gomez knew the victim was under the age of 18.
Police said the suspect sold heroin to a woman the victim was staying with at the motel, who then gave it to the victim.
