Man Charged With OWI In Montville Wrong-Way Wreck: State Police
A man has been charged following a wreck on the I-395 offramp late Monday night.
MONTVILLE, CT — A man has been charged following a wrong-way crash on the offramp of I-395 southbound in Montville on Monday night, according to state police. No one was injured in the two-car wreck.
State police said a 2008 Mercury Milan Premier entered the offramp from Route 2A going the wrong way at 11:33 p.m. and sideswiped a 2009 Mercedes Benz E3504m.
James Tanner, 46, of Colchester, was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol, failure to drive in proper lane, and driving the wrong way on a divided highway.

He was given a $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in court Feb. 25 in Norwich.
