Man Dies In I-395 Crash In Montville; ID Released: State Police

State police are investigating a single-car crash that led to the death of a man.

MONTVILLE, CT — A man is dead following an accident on I-395 in Montville on Saturday, according to state police.

Police received a report of a single-car accident with serious injuries in the area of exit 6 northbound on I-395 at 7:41 a.m.

A black Infiniti Q50 had hit four road signs in the right shoulder, then left the road and came to an uncontrolled rest in the woods, state police said.

The driver, Theodore Dickson, 37, of Waterford, was taken to Backus Hospital in Norwich where he was declared dead.

An investigation is ongoing.
