Man Found With Meth, Cocaine, Fentanyl In Montville, Police Say

MONTVILLE, CT — A man is facing numerous charges and was held on a $250,000 cash-surety bond after his arrest Friday, according to police.

Montville police assisted Norwich parole with a compliance check on Troy McDermott, 46.

Police did a search and found 20 grams of crack cocaine, 5 grams of methamphetamines, and 1 gram of fentanyl along with packaging materials for street-level sales.

McDermott was taken into custody and charged with two counts of possession of narcotics with intent to sell, two counts of possession of narcotics, and drug paraphernalia.

He was scheduled to appear in Norwich Superior Court on Monday.
