Man Had More Than 300 Bags Of Fentanyl: Montville Police

A man is facing charges after police say he was found with large quantities of drugs.

MONTVILLE, CT — A man has been charged with dealing drugs after police said he was found with a large amount of fentanyl, cocaine, and crack cocaine. Michael Perry, 38, was arrested Saturday afternoon on several charges, according to a police statement.

Police said Perry was wanted on six active warrants. During a search, police said they found 337 bags of fentanyl weighing 90 grams, 23 grams of cocaine, 4 grams of crack cocaine, and $3,895 in cash, along with packaging materials to prepare the drugs for sale.

Perry was charged with possession of fentanyl with intent to sell, possession of over 1/2 ounce of cocaine with intent to sell, operation of a drug factory, possession of a narcotic, possession of drug paraphernalia, and three counts each of first-degree and second-degree failure to appear.

He was held on $4 million bond and scheduled to be arraigned in Norwich Superior Court on Monday.
