Man 'On The Run' For 5 Months Arrested By Montville PD

A man facing a litany of charges was arrested earlier this week after nearly five months on the run, according to police.

MONTVILLE, CT — A man is facing multiple charges after his arrest earlier this week, according to police. Bernard Perry, 46, was charged with possession of a narcotic, possession of drug paraphernalia, violation of probation, first-degree larceny, engaging in police pursuit, reckless driving, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Police took Perry into custody Tuesday based on the strength of four arrest warrants. Perry has been on the run for approximately five months and was located by the New London Violent Crimes Task Force East Office, according to police.

Perry was turned over to Montville police where he was charged and held on a cash bond of $240,000. He was scheduled to appear in Norwich Superior Court on Wednesday.
