MHS International Club is hosting a presentation by Marilyn Lowney on March 29

The MHS International Club is hosting a presentation by Marilyn Lowney, Executive Director of the Haitian Health Foundation, next Tuesday, March 29th at 2:15 in the Library Media Center.

Marilyn, through the foundation started by her father in 1982, has been involved in providing many services and supplies to the people Haiti. She would like to share her personal experiences working in Haiti, as well as the culture of Haiti, and some of the challenges facing the Haitian people.

The International Club members will also present Marilyn with a donation of $225.00, which was raised for the HHF by selling handmade paper ornaments.

We believe it would be an awesome presentation to see and will support any content looking at developing countries and the many obstacles they must overcome.

Please join us and encourage your students to attend as well.
