Mohegan Sun Player Turns $5 Bet Into $1.7 Million Jackpot

The win by the lucky player this past weekend marks the largest at the casino since 2022.

UNCASVILLE, CT β€” A Connecticut resident turned a $5 bet into more than $1.7 million during a visit to Mohegan Sun over the weekend, according to a statement from the resort-casino.

According to the casino, the lucky guest was playing an Aristocrat Gaming Jackpot Buffalo slot machine inside the Casino of the Earth on Sunday when they hit the β€œMega Grand Jackpot” totaling $1,759,779.63. The player was wagering $5 per spin at the time of the win.

Casino officials said the prize marks the largest slot jackpot at Mohegan Sun since 2022, when a player won $3.8 million.
