Montville Man Bites, Scratches, Breaks $3,000 in Items After Demanding to See Sleeping 6-Year Old: Police

After being told his son was sleeping, a man was allegedly incensed and caused a lot of damage.

LEDYARD, CT – Police said an Uncasville man broke into a Ledyard home Thursday and demanded to see his son, the Norwich Bulletin reported.

Felipe Echavarria, 28, showed up at a woman’s house close to 11:30 p.m. and demanded to see his sleeping 6-year old son, the Norwich Bulletin reported. He then allegedly attempted to break down the door, then scratched and bit the woman’s boyfriend.

Police said Echavarria broke a number of items while leaving the home, totaling to about $3,000 worth of damages, the Norwich Bulletin reported. He was subsequently arrested and transported to the Groton Town Police Department.
