Montville Man Charged for Head Injury in Bowling Alley Fight

A Montville man is accused of slamming a man’s head in a car door during a Norwich Bowling Alley fight, as reported by The Day.

The incident occurred back in February, for which Ryan Herbert, 27, appeared in court Monday and pleaded not guilty, according to the Norwich Bulletin. He is accused of leaving the unnamed victim with a disfiguring head injury.

Police obtained an arrest warrant last month for Herbert, who was involved in a crash with the victim’s wife in 2007, The Day reported. The two parties recognized each other at the alley, wherein a fight broke out and ended with the victim undergoing a more than four hour surgery and left with permanent nerve damage following Herbert’s alleged actions.
