Kayak Found In Search Of Missing Montville Man (UPDATE)
State Police, helicopters and the U.S. Coast Guard are currently searching for him.

Update: A kayak has been found as crews search for a Montville man who has been missing after he went fishing, NBC Connecticut reports. It is not clear if the kayak belongs to the missing man Lyle Dagenais.
MONTVILLE, CT — State Police Troop E-Montville are searching for missing Montville man.
On Feb. 19 at 11:24 PM, Montville Police received a call from a residence in Montville about a family member that had been missing, State Police said. The male, Lyle Dagenais, 31, had left the residence at 11:00 AM to go flounder/fluke fishing in the local area. Lyle took three fishing poles, a tackle box, and an gray/orange 11 foot kayak, State Police said.

Lyle was last seen in the Montville area and was going fishing on the Thames River. Lyle's vehicle has been located at a boat launch in the town of Montville without the kayak or fishing poles, State Police said. Lyle is a white male approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, 140 lbs, clean shaven with brown hair. Lyle was last seen wearing a gray "I love NY" hooded sweatshirt, dark colored jeans or khakis, and hiking boots. Lyle may possibly be wearing a hat.
A U.S. Coast Guard helicopter, a U.S. Coast Guard Marine Vessel, Connecticut State Police Trooper 1 Helicopter, Montville FD Marine Unit, and additional local and State Police/FD personnel are currently searching the area for Lyle, State Police said.
