Montville Police Department Honors 5 Officers for Training Colleagues
Five members of the Montville Police Department were honored as Officers of the Year, which is typically only awarded to one person.
MONTVILLE, CT -- The Montville Police Department has chosen to honor five members as Officers of the Year,” The Day reported.
The department typically honors one officer with the award, but has chosen to change things up this year, according to The Day. The five men were chosen in recognition of their training of new colleagues.
The number of officers in the department has increased from 19 to 26 within a year, The Day reported. The increase had subsequently placed a burden on the department’s training capabilities.
